Nikola Dimitrijević

Nikola Dimitrijević is one of the most influential restaurateurs in Serbia, the founder of a cult Belgrade restaurant Franš, which has been a symbol of quality, professional service and hedonism for more than four decades.

Coming from a catering family, he started his career in the restaurant "Šumatovac", and in 1981, together with his father Naum and brother Dimitrije, he opened the restaurant Franš in a then unusual location in Belgrade. Under his leadership, the restaurant became recognizable for its superb cuisine, dedicated service and impeccable ambience, attracting business meetings, diplomatic receptions and family lunches.

Dimitrijević is known for his business philosophy based on discipline, daily work in the restaurant and personal quality control. His contribution to the Serbian hospitality scene includes raising the standard of service, preserving tradition while modernizing the business and promoting the role of chefs.
